Meet Paul Barton

I am available to accompany you in your life journey as you explore questions about your faith, identity, vocation, and relationships. In spiritual direction, the most important thing we do is listen. Listen to God, listen for God, listen to ourselves, and listen to each other. Sometimes that listening takes the form of prayer.

I am an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church, a pastor of a multicultural church and previously of Hispanic/Latino churches, a former professor at a seminary in The Episcopal Church for 16 years, husband, father, teacher, friend, encourager, and seeker.

Much of my ministry has focused on ministry in Hispanic/Latino contexts and advocacy for marginalized groups and persons.
